Wednesday, September 21 4pm-6pm at McMaster University

Presented by The Campaign to Control Cancer, The People vs Cancer University Tour will be visiting McMaster University on September 21. Stephen Lewis and other influential speakers will be discussing global transformations in public health and new innovative responses to controlling cancer.

Stephen Lewis, the former Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations, will be discussing global transformations in public health and Canada’s role in facing new policies. The following speakers will discuss the transformations in a social context, the role of Universities in shaping global health leaders and how changing the current business model will positively impact accountability and sustainability in the combat against cancer. The final hour will be devoted to panel discussion and an audience Q&A session.

The tour is to encourage Canadian youth to take a leadership role in the fight against cancer, a disease that 1 in 3 Canadians are diagnosed with in their lifetimes and that deeply impacts all of our lives. This is a free lecture and is open to the community. We hope to see you there!
