Come out this Friday to stand in solidarity with the local 1005. It is no secret that the hardships of our local economy have weighed heavily on the backs of steel workers and their families. Between the job hazards, layoffs, buyouts, pension debates, and outsourcing – it’s been one hardship after another for steel workers.
This Friday The Steelworkerz Waltz looks to support our steel workers through a great musical showcase. Confirmed performers are: Ray Materick, Tim Gibbons, Martin Verrall, Edgar Breau, Shawn Brush, Steve Sinnicks, Sloppy Jalopy, Steve Foster, The Squids, Lee Reed, Mac’n'Awe, Harad, and more.
A compilation CD will be available for purchase for $10. Come out to support one of our hardest working communities.
