Halloween WEEKEND!!!

As always there are going to be some great parties this Halloween! We have decided to write up about 3 events that are taking place on 3 separate nights.

The cant miss event of the weekend HALLOWIZZEEN 2  which will feature great local Musicians Jeremy Greenspan, Motem, Kid Years and more will be on Saturday! This will be at the Dead Mill Theatre at 80 James St North. Advanced Tickits are $10 and can be purchased at The Brain, White Elephant and The Ship.

On Friday at Home Grown Hamilton there will be Classic Slasher flicks being showed with Girl Talk playing over top. Find more information is here.  On Sunday night there will be a Skalloween party featuring the return of Skaface. This will be 19+ event starting with doors at 9 pm and an $8 cover.

Inlet Sound at The Casbah

Monday Sept 12 at The Casbah

Local boys Inlet Sound will be finishing off there Dream Awake tour at The Casbah tonight and we are really excited.

After a great weekend of music from the Supercrawl make sure to stop by tonight to get over your musical hangover with the sweet melodic music of Inlet Sound.  Little City The Polymorphines and Greg Preston & The Machine will be starting up the night while The Paint Movement will be headlining!

Tickets are 10 bucks at the door and should be a fun night for all!

After the amazing Supercrawl make sure to stop by Red Mill to check out the unofficial after party! Hosted by Ward 2 & Beauty industries this will be the place to be to continue the good music vibes!

Montreal’s Jacques Green will be headlining and spinning some great dance tracks! Local djs Motem, Parking Exit, Bosco and Ollie will be filling the hall with fun beats all night! And of course, Realtime Activities will be putting up nice visuals while samosas and drinks are consumed!

Doors are at 9 and the $10 tickets are gonna be going FAST!

Non-Stop Nordic Night

Tuesday, August 30th, 10pm at Che Burrito & Lounge

The summer is coming to an end and so we at Happening Hamilton have thought that we should bring back one final Nordic Night. A final night of dancing, cheap drinks and great people!

Hosted by two people who are definitely not DJs, Daniel and Brianna, this night will showcase the amazing music from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland. They will be playing tracks by your favorite Nordic artists and some that you have never heard, paired  up with $3 drinks all night!

YEP, I’m on a Boat!

Friday at 9:00pm at Hamilton Harbour Queen Cruise

This Friday YEP is taking over the Hamilton Harbour with the I’m on a Boat Party! Filled with young entrepreneurs from around the city, this will be the perfect place to socialize, network and tour the Hamilton waterfront!

There will be some great local music on board the ship, gourmet food prepared by Boo’s Bistro and Deliverizer and door prizes! Make sure to dress up in Nautical Chic, Yacht Club Ready, though pirates, first mates skippers and sailors are all welcome! Skater Jam

Saturday and Sunday at 12:00pm at Beasley Park

This Saturday HSA & Flatspot are proud to present the apex of this year’s Hamilton skateboarding events: The 19th Annual Hamilton Sk8 Jam (aka The Beaz Comp). Not only will all of Hamilton’s skateboarding prowess be on display, but Flatspot Shop will be putting together a BBQ for everyone!

There will be three categories of skaters with tones of prizes for all thanks to some great sponsorships. Registration fee for skaters is only $5 and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

So, regardless if you skateboard or not, come on out and enjoy Canada’s longest running skateboard contest for a weekend of awesome skateboarding, music, food, and plenty of “Beaz Steez” !!
