Friday, June 29th to Monday, July 2nd – Gage Park
Canada’s longest running and largest free festival is back this weekend at Gage Park. The performers for the main stage were announced weeks ago and can be found here.
The real excitement, however, will be happening at the New Music stage (towards the back of the park – near the carnival rides). The line up for this year’s New Music expo is fantastic and the full list of performers – with the schedule can be found on the Facebook page.
A few of our highlights are: Manter, KA$HKAVAL, The Hamilton Hi-Cats, Supa83, Lee Reed, The Motestra, Earth Wind & Choir, Huren, Cessna, and glassEYELashes. That is just a small sample of the amazing line up for this weekend.
If you’re in town this weekend, make it a point to head down to Gage park for the festival. Once you’ve had your fill of funnel cakes, wash-off tattoos, and folk – head over to the New Music Expo for some fantastic free music. From DJ beats to heavy metal – there is something great for everyone.
