The most magical time of the year is upon us; Halloween is finally here! I put out a call for Halloween parties on twitter and facebook and was overwhelmed with the response. It turns out that Hamilton is a very Halloween friendly place. I've done my best to sift through the responses and include the best events.
Get your costumes ready and hit the town!
Oct 26th @ Baltimore House. (10:30pm, $8)
Baltimore House is a great spot for a Halloween party, the decor and ambiance are perfect.
Kick off Halloween 2012 in style with DJs Jeremy Sklad, D-Spyzer, Supa83, and Motem.
Local artists Petra Matar, Dan Rivero, Tricia Cook, Anthony Belavia, and Teal Booth will be stationed in a 'black light cave' where they will be armed with glow in the dark paint. Wear white if you want to be turned into a human canvas.
Oct. 31st @ This Ain't Hollywood (9:00pm, $8)
Celebrate Halloween at This Ain't Hollywood with a fantastic musical lineup. Seriously, we get to see these bands, for $8, AND it's Halloween? Life is good, sometimes.
The bill includes the wonderful Ark Analog; Dan Werb from Woodhands and Maylee Todd. Hamilton's fine DJ's: Dex, and Ka$kaval, and Guelph's golden-boy Live Action Fezz.

The Brain's weekly 'Choose Up!' DJ night gets a Halloween remix this weekend with DJs: Nico Noir, Truth or Dare, Redrum & Coke, and Scarey Timez
Oct 26th. 8pm @ Homegrown Hamilton – $5
Homegrown Hamilton is kicking off their Halloween celebrations this Friday with an eclectic mash of monster rock.
Come down to see the unique Tupper Ware Remix Party, and Monster Fever.
Spooky.
Saturday, Oct 27th. 10pm @ The Brain
The Brain continues Halloween celebrations on Saturday with one half of Hamilton's finest musical exports: Junior Boys.
Jeremy Greenspan will be DJing this Halloween Dance Party along with DJ Bosco.
Oct 27th. 10pm @ Club 77 – $10
The newly renovated Club 77 is holding a Halloween party this Saturday featuring Toronto's DJs Dzeko and Torres.
This party promises to be a wild one. There is a costume contest and the winner gets $300.
If you're into a good old fashioned rager, check out this party. They are offering $60 VIP booth and bottle service.
Oct 27th. 10pm @ Club Absinthe
This Halloween rager will start off with a special performance by Toronto's Diemonds and will continue with the very cool DJ Schmee J.
Costume prizes, drink specials, and a rockin good time should be expected.
If you're looking to get wild, make some questionable decisions, and find a hot Hamiltonian – this part is your best bet.

Come down to downtown's coolest karaoke bar for their Halloween Costume Karaoke Party.
Costume prizes include $50, bar tabs, and other swag.
Weds, Oct 31st. 9pm @ The Brain
The Halloween fun continues at the Brain with 'Halloween Horror Disco” with DJs Ollie, Nopeople, and Rich Oddie from Orphyx.
Get down to techno, house, and synthpunk from the depths of hell.
Nov 2nd. 10pm @ Homegrown Hamilton -$10
Throw on your Halloween costumes one last time for Homegrown Hamilton's Halloween Part Deux party.
This party features Diesel Dog, Revery Eyes, and special guests, Sorry Cousins.
