DemoCampHamilton is a regularly occurring series of events organized by grassroots initiative Software Hamilton.
Each event starts off with a keynote on a technology or startup related topic, and follows with 5-6 live tech demos done by startups, students and hackers. Each demo is 5 minutes long and is followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the community in attendance.
DemoCampHamilton7 will have a keynote by Justin Hogeterp, President of FluidMedia Inc., on growing a technology company in Hamilton.
Justin has been successfully building great software products and growing a technology company in Hamilton for years before the recent tech sector surge the city is experiencing. He brings a great perspective to the table and it will be wonderful to have him share this experience with the rest of the community. The series of demos that will follow include new products by local startups, some mHealth software, and a demo of the latest creation by award winning professor Dan Zen.
Anyone interested in technology in Hamilton is welcome to attend.
