International Astronomy Day at Bayfront Park

Saturday, April 28th. 1-4pm, 8-11pm @ Bayfront Park – $Free

Something very cool is going on at Bayfront park this Saturday -The Hamilton Amateur Astronomers crew is celebrating International Astronomy day.
The event is free, and is appropriate for people of all ages.

Amateur astronomers will bring their equipment and allow the public to use it to gaze at planets, stars, and the rest. If you have telescopes and the like at home feel free to bring them down to the park.

Gorilla Cheese and The Cupcake Diner will be on site to provide some star gazin’ fuel.

Hairspray at Lyric Theatre

The Hamilton production of Hairspray opens this Friday at Lyric Theatre.

Westdale High alumni Rodney Diverlu stars in this production which runs until May5th. This production of Hairspray  is a highly anticipated Hammer Entertainment event and is a fantastic ‘night-out’ option for people of all ages.
Opening night will feature a meet-and-greet reception in the lobby of Lyric Theatre after the performance. Make sure you stick around to meet Rodney and the rest of the cast.
