It’s that magical time of the month again, the time we get together and celebrate local hip hop.
If you are new to the event: Steel Gold is a monthly $5 hip hop show case. Each event begins with an open cypher and is usually followed by several performances.
April’s event will be a Guru tribute show. The evening will feature a performance by Progress from the Freedom Writers and will be hosted by Mookie Wilson from CFMU’s In Tha Kut. Spinning the tunes will be Shindiggers DJ’s Walter & Cam.
Come down to the Casbah this Thursday to kick off the long weekend with a great party!
